Budanov is making a working visit to Lithuania on May 11
The Office of the President has confirmed that its head, Kyrylo Budanov, is on a working visit to Lithuania on May 11. Details of the trip and its itinerary have not yet been officially disclosed.
A source in the Office of the President reported this in a comment to Ukrinform.
When asked whether the information that the Head of the Presidential Office is on a visit to Lithuania is true, the agency’s source replied: “Yes, the visit is taking place.”
The source noted that the purpose of the visit is to strengthen international cooperation and coordination, as well as mutual support between the parties.
Earlier, Zelenskyy named three key topics of Umerov’s talks with Trump’s representatives.
Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian negotiating team, arrived in Miami, Florida, on May 7 for a meeting with U.S. representatives.
In reality, Russia is not committed to a genuine end to the war with Ukraine. All so-called negotiations, including those mediated by the U.S., are merely a sham on Moscow’s part.
