According to them, the deal will likely include two current-generation Boeing 777F freighters. This is expected to help the U.S. manufacturer bridge the gap until the new 777-8F freighter model, whose launch has been delayed, becomes available. The remainder of the order is expected to consist of 777-8F aircraft.
Airport project
Ethiopian Airlines is also helping finance a $12.5 billion airport construction project. Officials describe it as Africa's future largest airport, with the opening of its first phase scheduled for 2030.
