Photo: A fire broke out at the Izmailovo Kremlin complex in Moscow
On the night of May 12–13, a fire was reported in Moscow at the “Kremlin in Izmailovo” cultural and entertainment complex, located on the outskirts of the city. This is not the facility in the center of the Russian capital.
This is reported by Russian Telegram channels.
According to eyewitnesses quoted by the media, the fire broke out on the evening of May 12 at the “Kremlin in Izmailovo” cultural and entertainment complex.
It is claimed that the fire spread to the roof of one of the administrative buildings. The total area of the fire reached 200 square meters, after which the fire spread to 1,000 square meters.
The Moscow Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that the fire occurred in a steel-frame building on Vernisazhnaya Street.
Meanwhile, the Russian media outlet “Ostrozhno, Moskva” reports that, according to their information, the fire started in a technical room for escape rooms located next to the museum complex. Preliminary reports indicate that the fire was caused by a short circuit and faulty wiring.

According to the latest information, five people have been rescued so far during the fire on the Kremlin grounds. More than 100 people and 30 pieces of equipment have been deployed to extinguish the fire.
