Turkey’s Foreign Ministry reported the talks in a post on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, according to Anadolu Agency. The statement said that the meeting took place in the Syrian capital.

Earlier, during contacts in Damascus, Fidan was received by Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa.
