Foreign ministers of Cyprus and Switzerland to strengthen cooperation — Cyprus Mail
According to Cyprus Mail, Cyprus’ Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met in New York, United States, on Monday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. During the talks, they stated their intention to strengthen cooperation between Cyprus and Switzerland.
Bilateral relations
Kombos described the meeting as good. According to him, the conversation focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and cooperation in a multilateral format.

The Cypriot minister noted that the participants in the meeting paid attention to both bilateral ties and interaction within multilateral cooperation.
Switzerland’s position
For his part, Cassis said that the sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and multilateral cooperation. The Swiss minister also indicated that the conversation concerned ways of developing these areas of interaction.
