Elon Musk has announced two new, smaller Starlink antennas

The American company SpaceX is preparing a major upgrade to its satellite network and plans to launch mass production of next-generation user terminals at a cost of millions of dollars.

The new devices will differ significantly from current models in terms of size, design, and internal architecture.

During a demonstration, two prototypes of future antennas—one larger and one smaller—were spotted on the table in front of the company’s CEO. Visually, the new models appear more compact in size compared to existing models on the market.

In addition, engineers have redesigned the device’s exterior, completely removing the familiar gray side trim that was a hallmark of previous series.

Company management has high hopes for the new line of equipment, expecting to take satellite internet to a fundamentally new level of global coverage.

The main goal of the update is to make the technology as affordable and widely accessible as possible. According to the developers, this will ensure stable connectivity for a massive number of users worldwide.

During the presentation, the company’s owner emphasized the unprecedented scale of the upcoming equipment rollout. Consumers will be able to access the network using more user-friendly kits.

“In fact, these are new Starlink terminals that we have manufactured in much larger volumes than the current terminals. We believe there will likely be several hundred million Starlink terminals,” Musk said during an interview.

At this time, official representatives of the American company are refraining from disclosing commercial details.

The manufacturer’s official website does not yet provide detailed information on the cost, exact dimensions, or specific features of these devices.

This was stated by the company’s founder, Elon Musk, during a special video interview dedicated to the aerospace corporation’s promising developments.
