Ingraham says Republicans may feel relief at losing majority — The Hill
Fox News host Laura Ingraham said that many Republicans in the United States allegedly secretly would like the party to lose its majority in Congress in the November elections. Ingraham referred to U.S. Census Bureau data released this week on the growth of median household income. According to the data cited in the article, it rose by 2.6% in 2025 to $87,460, the highest figure since such records began in 1967.
November elections
Kudlow also drew attention to the earnings of skilled trades workers, including electricians, welders and pipeline installers, saying that they are approaching $200,000 a year. Ingraham called the current period the best for men without higher education, a voter group that makes up an important part of Trump’s support.
Republicans will defend a narrow majority in Congress in the November elections amid voter dissatisfaction with the economy and the cost of living. The Hill notes that recent polls show higher support for Democrats among voters on issues key to them, including healthcare, the economy and immigration.
