Jordan and Bahrain condemn Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia — Anadolu Agency
Jordan and Bahrain have condemned the latest Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and expressed solidarity with Riyadh. According to Anadolu Agency, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said that Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile targeting Riyadh.
Jordan's statement
Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Fuad al-Majali declared Amman's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. Jordan also supported all measures taken by Riyadh to protect the country's sovereignty, security, stability and citizens.
The ministry said that attempts to attack civilians and civilian infrastructure in Bisha, Taif, Farasan and Yanbu constitute a flagrant violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, security, stability and territorial integrity, as well as international law and the UN Charter.

Bahrain's reaction and alerts
Bahrain's Foreign Ministry also condemned the escalation of Houthi attacks, calling it a violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the UN Charter and relevant UN Security Council resolutions. Manama reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia's measures to protect its sovereignty, security and population and called on the UN Security Council to take a firm stance and hold those responsible accountable.
On Saturday, Saudi Civil Defense announced two alerts in Riyadh, two in Al-Kharj and one in Farasan. Authorities did not specify the nature of the threat and reported no deaths, injuries or destruction. On Thursday, Saudi authorities said that debris from a Houthi drone intercepted over Taif killed one person and injured two others.
The Houthis, for their part, said they had thwarted alleged criminal attempts by Saudi Arabia in Yemen's capital, Sanaa, without providing details. Saudi authorities did not link this statement to the announced alerts.
