Iran has announced its readiness to share military expertise with SCO member states — Reuters
Iranian Deputy Defense Minister Reza Talai-Nik stated that the country is ready to share its defense and military expertise with “independent states,” particularly with members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
This was reported by Reuters, citing Iranian media.
During a meeting of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Talai-Nik stated that Iran is ready to share its “experience of defeating America” with other members of the organization.
Recently, the Iranian official held talks with representatives of the defense ministries of Russia and Belarus, with Moscow and Minsk emphasizing their desire to continue cooperation with Tehran.
It is noted that from late February to early April, Iran waged war against the U.S. and Israel, during which it carried out a series of drone and missile attacks targeting American bases in the region, as well as Israeli facilities, while periodically shooting down American aerial targets (primarily drones) in its airspace.
The war was suspended following a ceasefire announced earlier this month, but efforts to resolve the two-month conflict have reached an impasse, Reuters reports.
