The Israel Defense Forces stated that they had carried out strikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. This was in response to a rocket attack on the northern border town of Shula, carried out by the group during the night.
The IDF reported this on its Telegram channel.
"Recently, the Israel Defense Forces destroyed a launch pad that fired several rockets toward Shula. Another launch pad, loaded and ready to fire, was also neutralized. This launch pad posed a threat to IDF soldiers and the State of Israel," the post states.
It is noted that strikes were carried out against targets in the southern Lebanese towns of Herbet Selem and Tulin.
It is also emphasized that the IDF "will continue to act decisively against threats" directed against Israeli civilians and military personnel.
