Israel fired three shells near a dam in Syria — Anadolu Agency
Israeli military forces fired three shells in the area of the Al-Mantara Dam in the central part of Syria's Quneitra province. This was reported by Anadolu Agency, citing Syrian broadcaster Alikhbaria.

According to the broadcaster, the area around the Al-Mantara Dam came under fire. At the time of publication, there were no reports of deaths, injuries, or damage.
The shelling occurred the day after two incursions by Israeli forces into the rural areas of Quneitra province. According to Anadolu Agency, during these actions, the military attacked shepherds, including minors.

Statement by the Syrian president
Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa raised the issue of Israeli actions on Syrian territory in an address to the 81st session of the UN General Assembly last week. According to him, since the end of 2024, Israel has carried out about 500 air and artillery strikes, more than 1,200 incursions, and approximately 300 arrests and detentions.
Al-Sharaa also stated Syria's commitment to the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement and called on Israeli forces to withdraw to the positions they held before December 8, 2024.
