Death toll from flash floods in Nepal rises to 1,127

In Nepal, the death toll from devastating flash floods has risen to 1,127, police reported. As of September 2, The Hindu International wrote about this. Rescuers continue searching for thousands of people who remain missing a week after the disaster in the Himalayas.

According to Nepal Police, 348 bodies were found in Chitwan, 217 in East Nawalparasi, 190 in West Nawalparasi, and 155 in Nuwakot.
