Kim Jong Un observed a missile test conducted from aboard a new warship. Last Sunday, North Korea conducted another round of tests of strategic cruise missiles and anti-ship missiles as part of an assessment of the combat effectiveness of the destroyer "Choe Hyon."

This was reported by Reuters, citing North Korean state television KCNA.

Two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-ship missiles were launched to test the warship’s integrated weapons control system, train crews in missile launch procedures, and verify accuracy.

The cruise missiles flew for approximately 7,869 to 7,920 seconds, and the anti-ship missiles for approximately 1,960 to 1,973 seconds over waters off the country’s west coast, striking their targets.

Leader Kim Jong Un observed the tests alongside high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Defense and Navy commanders.

KCNA reported that on the same day, he was briefed on plans for weapon systems for two additional destroyers currently under construction.

As a reminder, Kim Jong Un has reshuffled North Korea’s parliament.
