Cyprus unveils strategy to promote the country for investment and business

In Limassol, Cyprus, the Invest Cyprus agency presented a national strategy to promote the country abroad, designed to shape its image as a stable, reliable and future-oriented destination for investment and business. The strategy, under the slogan “Stability with Prospects,” was presented during a working meeting with representatives of the city’s business community at Parklane Resort & Spa, Cyprus Mail reports.

A European hub with a global vision

Invest Cyprus said that the new concept is intended to combine, in the international perception of Cyprus, economic stability and trust with growth prospects, innovation and a high quality of life. The country is positioned as a European hub with a global vision, leveraging its location at the crossroads of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.

As an EU member state in the Eastern Mediterranean, Cyprus is presented as a base for investment, business development and international cooperation. Changes in the economy and institutions, as well as opportunities in technology, research and innovation, energy, shipping, financial and professional services, were cited among the elements of the country’s competitive identity.
