Chinese actress Wang Qianhui says camera was stolen in Paris — ECNS

Chinese actress Wang Qianhui said that while working in Paris, France, her camera was stolen along with footage shot over the entire day. According to her, the equipment disappeared in about 30 seconds.

Actress's statement

Wang Qianhui reported the incident on social media. She said she is still distressed by what happened and had never encountered anything similar in 33 years of living in China. ECNS reports.

Wang Qianhui was born in 1993 in the city of Huai'an, Jiangsu Province. She studied musical theatre at the Central Academy of Drama and performed in several theatrical productions. The actress also takes part in the reality show Ride the Wind 2026.

Embassy warning

The incident occurred amid recommendations from the Chinese Embassy in France for Chinese tourists ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival and China's National Day. The diplomatic mission urged them to watch their belongings more carefully in crowded places, wear backpacks on their front, and not leave valuables unattended in cars.

In case of emergencies, Chinese citizens were advised to contact local police and Chinese diplomatic missions.
