KKL-JNF bans celebrations at Nova festival site — Jerusalem Post
Israel’s KKL-JNF fund said that the memorial site at the location of the Nova music festival in the Re'im Forest in Israel may be used only for commemorative ceremonies. Celebrations and other events will not be held there, The Jerusalem Post reports.
Restrictions for visitors
KKL-JNF called on visitors to treat the site, the events that took place there, and the feelings of the families of those killed with respect. The fund also provided a list of prohibited actions: camping, setting up sound systems, and lighting fires, including for barbecues, are not allowed on the site.

Statement by the fund’s chairman
KKL-JNF chairman Eyal Ostry said that celebrations at the Nova site are unacceptable. According to him, 378 civilians and security forces personnel were killed in the Re'im Forest, and the fund’s goal is to preserve the memory of those killed.
Ostry also said that KKL-JNF invested millions in creating a memorial at the site. He added that the fund has invested billions of shekels in projects in northern Israel, the Jordan Valley, and the south of the country.
