Russian blogger Lunin, who was released on July 9 after administrative detention, deleted from his social media accounts a video message to Russian President Vladimir Putin that had previously garnered millions of views.

The day before, he had spoken out for the first time since his release, stating that during his time in custody he “lost a little weight and let his beard grow, but everything is fine.” According to Russian sources, Lunin spent 11 days behind bars.

As a reminder, the blogger was charged with an administrative offense under the article prohibiting the display of extremist or Nazi symbols.

After his release, the video message to Putin—which had previously been widely shared online and garnered millions of views—disappeared from his Instagram. The author did not comment on the reasons for its removal.

As a reminder, on July 9 in Russia, former serviceman Alexander Lunin was released after 11 days of administrative detention. He had previously publicly demanded a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and threatened a mutiny.

After making threats against Putin, Russian occupier Lunin was convicted of displaying Nazi symbols.
