In the United States, two locations were renamed in honor of President Donald Trump. On July 9, an airport and a bridge in Florida and Tennessee were renamed in honor of the American leader.
In Florida, Palm Beach International Airport was officially renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
State Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill to change the airport’s name back in March.
It is reported that renaming the airport will cost at least $5.5 million.
The private jet Trump Force One, which Trump used during his election campaign, was the first aircraft to land at the renamed airport.
Earlier, on July 9, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent spoke at a ceremony to rename a bridge in Jefferson County, Tennessee, in honor of U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
The bridge was previously known as the Francis Burnett Swann Memorial Bridge.
