The commander of NATO forces assessed the threat of a Russian invasion of the Baltic states

The Russian Federation is unlikely to risk launching a military attack against the Baltic states, as it is well aware that it cannot succeed in such a conflict. The Alliance is closely monitoring the movements of Russian troops and rapidly analyzing intelligence in close cooperation with member states to monitor the situation along the borders.

This was stated by the Supreme Commander of NATO’s Allied Forces in Europe, U.S. General Alexus Grinkewich.

The American military commander noted that Moscow does not seek a direct armed conflict with the North Atlantic Alliance, as the Russian leadership is aware that the allies possess a number of strategic advantages that currently remain completely out of its reach. At the same time, the general assured that defense forces are in a state of constant combat readiness and fully prepared for any possible developments or provocations on the eastern flank. He emphasized that in the event of a real critical scenario, the response would be unified, as all 32 member countries of the defense alliance are ready to fight today.

Russia could attack Europe if China invades Taiwan, according to the NATO Secretary General.

Dictator Putin, ahead of a meeting with an American delegation comprising U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, stated that Russia is allegedly ready to go to war with Europe but has no such intention.

In the event of a Russian attack on NATO members, the Alliance could launch a preemptive strike against targets on Russian territory, according to NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Rob Bauer.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers it entirely possible that Russia could open a second front against another European country even before the war in Ukraine ends.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army could attack a NATO member state within the next five years. This would test the Alliance’s resilience.
