Shakira's concert in Qatar has been postponed due to the war with Iran
Shakira's concert, which was scheduled to take place on April 1 in Doha, has been postponed due to the escalating security situation in the Middle East.
The OFFLIMITS music festival in Abu Dhabi, where the Jonas Brothers were scheduled to perform, has also been postponed—the event will now take place in November.
Other events have also been affected:
- singer Josh Groban canceled concerts in Dubai and Bahrain;
- Formula 1 has canceled races in Bahrain and Jeddah;
- the soccer match between the national teams of Spain and Argentina in Qatar will also not take place.
The reason was the escalation of the conflict between the U.S. and Iran, which affected the security situation in the Persian Gulf countries.
Iran continued its missile strikes on Israel, despite Trump’s statements about negotiations.
Iranian media report on U.S. and Israeli attacks on energy infrastructure in the cities of Isfahan and Khorramshahr. According to the Iranian Fars news agency, gas supply facilities and a gas pipeline were targeted. There were no civilian casualties.
Iran has announced“surprises” for the U.S. and Israel in the coming days.
As a reminder, the U.S. and Israel have different objectives in the war with Iran.
Israel also bombed a port from which Iran was supplying weapons to Russia.
