The AfD leader called for an end to military aid to Ukraine over the Nord Stream issue

Co-chair of the far-right, pro-Russian party “Alternative for Germany” (AfD), Tino Chrupalla, called for an end to military aid to Ukraine after the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office formally charged a Ukrainian national, Serhiy K., in connection with the bombing of the “Nord Stream” gas pipelines.

According to the politician, the available investigative materials are already sufficient to reconsider the policy of supporting Ukraine.

“There is already enough evidence to halt all military aid to Ukraine,” Khrupalla stated.

The politician called the sabotage of the gas pipelines “a blow to the lifeline of German industry.”

Earlier, the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office reported that, according to the investigation, the plan to blow up the “Nord Stream” gas pipelines was developed on behalf of Ukrainian government agencies. These conclusions are contained in the official charges brought against former Ukrainian officer Serhiy K.

For his part, a spokesperson for “Alternative for Germany” stated that the circumstances of the sabotage must be “ruthlessly and thoroughly investigated.”

“First and foremost, this means bringing those who ordered this attack into the public eye,” the party representative emphasized.

He also added that, in his opinion, there should be “no hesitation” regarding the investigation into the activities of the then-leadership of the Ukrainian army and Ukrainian intelligence.

At the same time, it is worth noting that the official charges brought by the German prosecutor’s office represent the position of the prosecution. The final decision on the guilt of the accused must be made by the court.

The statement by the leader of the German far-right party is reported by Welt.

The investigation into the alleged sabotage of the “Nord Stream” gas pipelines is entering a new phase. The defense attorneys for Ukrainian soldier Serhiy Kuznetsov reported that they had only received the indictment from the German side the day before. According to them, they now have about two months to thoroughly review the case materials and prepare their defense.

The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office has officially charged Ukrainian Serhiy Kuznetsov in the case involving the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. The agency’s statement notes that he and other members of the group acted as Ukrainian military personnel.

In Germany, charges have been filed against a Ukrainian in the Nord Stream case.

Germany has urged its citizens to leave Russia.

Russia has stepped up a new informationcampaign against Sumy.

Russian propaganda outlets have claimed to have allegedly captured the village of Ivolzhanske in the Sumy region. At the same time, the Ukrainian side refutes these claims, emphasizing that the information about these “successes” is fabricated and does not correspond to reality. This was reported on June 24 by the Communications Center of the “Kursk” military group, citing Ukrainian military sources.

Russia will remaina threat to its neighbors even after Putin, according to Swedish intelligence.
