Lukashenko to Hold Urgent Meeting with Putin Amid Threats from Zelenskyy

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Belarus’s self-proclaimed president, Alexander Lukashenko, will meet in the near future to discuss Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s statements regarding Russian broadcast relays near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, Moscow views Zelenskyy’s remarks as an “aggressive threat,” “interference in internal affairs,” and “an encroachment on the sovereignty” of Belarus.

“This will be a good opportunity to discuss these and other issues,” Peskov said, commenting on the upcoming talks between Putin and Lukashenko.

The Kremlin also stated that it has no doubt about the Belarusian authorities’ ability to independently safeguard their own sovereignty.

Belarus unveiled the Ross electronic warfare system equipped with artificial intelligence.

Belarus has restricted access to forests near the border with Ukraine.
