Ghana's meteorological service warns of thunderstorms and rain in several regions — MyJoyOnline
The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has warned of possible thunderstorms and rain in some parts of the country during the afternoon and evening on Monday, September 28. According to MyJoyOnline, most areas of the country will remain cloudy.
Regional forecast
Light to moderate rainfall is expected in some coastal and central areas of Ghana. Intermittent thunderstorms are possible in the transition zones. In the north, sunny weather is initially forecast, but thunderstorms with rain are also possible there from late afternoon into the evening.

The bad weather may affect Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Damongo, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu, Wa and Jirapa. Thunderstorms or rain are also forecast in Sunyani, Techiman, Sampa, Kete-Krachi and Atebubu.
Sea conditions
GMet also warned that the sea remains rough. The agency urged the public to take the necessary safety precautions.
