MHV honors 14 hospitality interns in Cyprus — Cyprus Mail
MHV Group in Cyprus held an event for 14 young people who completed internships at The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection in Nicosia and Parklane, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Limassol during the summer. The event was organised on September 25 to mark World Tourism Day, celebrated on September 27, Cyprus Mail reports.
Internships at two hotels
Seven participants completed internships at The Landmark Nicosia, Autograph Collection, while another seven trained at Parklane, A Luxury Collection Resort & Spa. They worked in various positions and areas of the hotel industry.
The event was attended by the interns, their schoolteachers and university lecturers, as well as Paphitis, a representative of the tourism department. Participants expressed approval of the initiative and stressed its importance for tourism education, the hospitality industry and the community.

Combining education and practice
MHV representatives said they dedicated the event to young people whom they consider future professionals in the tourism sector. According to them, tourism is connected not only with travel destinations, hotels and guest experiences, but above all with the people who create these experiences every day.
MHV noted that it seeks to combine academic education with practical experience in hospitality, introduce young professionals to the industry's opportunities and create a space for exchanging experience. According to the group, the initiative is part of its corporate social responsibility and ESG strategy, which provides for supporting, developing and empowering young people.
