Education Ministry to release CSSPS results on September 4
The Ministry of Education announced that the results of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) will be released on Friday, September 4. Publication was postponed because thousands of candidates were unable to upload their data to the platform, MyJoyOnline reports.
Placement completed
Hashmin Mohammed, press secretary and spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, said on Joy FM's Super Morning Show on September 3 that the ministry had completed the placement procedure and was ready to release the results the following day.
According to him, the results were initially planned for publication last week. However, the ministry extended the deadline for submitting data after discovering that about 20,000 candidates had been unable to enter their information into the system.

Mohammed explained that the extension was necessary to ensure that all qualified candidates had the opportunity to obtain a place at a secondary education institution.
Data entered by 18,000 candidates
After the deadline extension, about 18,000 candidates had already entered their data into CSSPS, the spokesperson said. The remaining approximately 2,000 people are students at schools for children with special needs.
These students do not undergo the same procedure for confirming their choice of institution as other candidates. According to Mohammed, the relevant schools submit student lists to the ministry, after which their data are entered into the system manually, as the institutions for them have already been determined.
