The Italian Minister of Defense offered Fedorov a position as an advisor

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated that he had offered the position of his advisor to the former head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Mykhailo Fedorov. According to the Italian official, he personally called Fedorov after Fedorov was dismissed from his post and invited him to work in Rome. Crosetto explained that he highly values Fedorov’s contribution to the development of military technology and called him one of the people who have changed the approach to modern warfare.

 

Italian Defense Minister Guido Crozetto said that he contacted Mykhailo Fedorov immediately after his dismissal from the post of Ukraine’s defense minister. In an interview with La Repubblica, Crosetto noted that he had offered the Ukrainian politician the opportunity to come to Rome and work with him as an advisor. “I called him the day after his dismissal and asked, ‘When do you want to come to Rome and work with me as an advisor?’” Crozetto said.

According to the Italian minister, Fedorov responded positively to the offer. He noted that the Ukrainian was touched by this gesture and took it as a sign of respect and friendship. “He was touched and took it as a sign of respect and friendship,” Crozetto said.

Crozetto highlighted Fedorov’s role in military innovation
