The minister reported the operation in a post on social media platform X on Wednesday. According to the Jerusalem Post, Katz praised Israeli military personnel and Shin Bet for what he described as a precise operation and actions to counter Israel's adversaries.

Katz said that Israel would continue to pursue Hamas commanders and operatives, strike the group's sources of funding and destroy its infrastructure. According to the minister, Israel will not allow Hamas to rebuild its strength and will not stop until Hamas is no longer in Gaza.
