Base is used by US forces
US Air Force personnel are stationed at RAF Fairford. According to the publication, the US military uses the base to conduct strikes on Iran.
Since February 28, when Washington jointly with Israel began operations against Iran, US bombers have been deployed from this base. This prompted protests near RAF Fairford. In July, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned Britain that any British military base used by the US for attacks on Tehran would become a “legitimate target.”
