An explosion occurred at a gas processing plant in southern Iran, injuring three workers.
Iran International reported this, citing a representative of the South Pars gas complex.
According to him, the incident occurred on Monday while clearing debris at the gas processing plant, which had previously been damaged by the war.
Following the explosion, emergency rescue and firefighting units quickly arrived at the scene and contained and extinguished the fire.
Iranian state media reacted to U.S. President Donald Trump’s statement regarding alleged agreements to open the Strait of Hormuz, calling it “incomplete and untrue.”
The U.S. reacted strongly to Iran’s intentions to introduce a toll system for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, stating that this is unacceptable and could derail any negotiations. Washington considers this strategic waterway critically important and will not tolerate its commercial or political control by Tehran.
