Temperatures in Cyprus to reach 39°C — Cyprus Mail
Mostly clear weather is expected in Cyprus on Monday, September 7, while air temperatures in the island’s inland areas will rise to 39°C. The region remains under the influence of seasonal low atmospheric pressure, Cyprus Mail reports.
Temperature and wind
Temperatures of up to 33°C are forecast on the west coast, around 36°C on other coasts, and 29°C in highland areas.
At first, winds will blow mainly from the northeast to southeast at 3–4 on the Beaufort scale. By evening, they will shift mainly to southwesterly and northwesterly directions, maintaining the same strength. The sea will be calm or slightly rough.

Night forecast and coming days
Mostly clear weather will persist in Cyprus overnight into Tuesday. Winds will be northwesterly and northeasterly at 3–4 on the Beaufort scale, while the sea will be slightly rough.
Nighttime temperatures will fall to 22°C inland, about 23°C on the coast, and 19°C in highland areas. Clear weather will also prevail on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, although cloud cover may increase in some places. Temperatures will drop slightly on Tuesday but will remain above the seasonal norm. No significant changes are expected on Wednesday and Thursday.
