Rising tensions between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates over developments in eastern Yemen are not expected to affect OPEC+ oil output policy, according to assessments from delegates preparing to attend the group’s upcoming meeting.

Eight member countries are expected to participate, including several major producers that previously raised their output targets over the past year before agreeing to pause further increases during the first quarter of the new period.

Analysts note that OPEC+ decision-making remains largely insulated from regional political disputes, with the alliance prioritising market stability and the balance between global supply and demand.
