Iran’s new leader owns £100 million property portfolio in London

Iran’s new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, owns luxury real estate in London valued at around £100 million, according to Israeli Bloomberg journalist Ben Bartenstein, who reported this in January. Over the past 20 years, Khamenei has purchased 11 apartments and houses on Bishop’s Avenue, known as the “Billionaires’ Row,” the most prestigious street in London.

He has established a covert international business network accumulating elite properties and investments in Europe and the Middle East worth billions of dollars. His assets include villas in Dubai, hotels, and other prime real estate in European financial hubs such as Frankfurt and Mallorca. Despite the vast hidden wealth, Bloomberg notes a lack of clear evidence that the funds have been used for personal luxury, as the assets primarily serve the regime’s financial interests.

The deceased Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in January while living in an ordinary house, was also known for his modest lifestyle, highlighting a different facet of the country’s leadership.
