The UAE intercepted 58 missiles and drones launched from Iran
On Sunday, March 29, the United Arab Emirates’ air defense forces successfully intercepted 58 aerial targets launched from Iran. Among them were 16 ballistic missiles and 42 unmanned aerial vehicles.
This was reported by the UAE Ministry of Defense on social media platform X.
Since the start of active attacks from Iran, the country’s air defense has intercepted 414 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,914 drones.
As a result of the attacks, 2 military personnel and 8 civilians were killed, and another 178 people sustained injuries of varying severity.
The day before, Iranian forces struck the United Arab Emirates, launching 20 ballistic missiles and 37 drones. According to the UAE Ministry of Defense, all attacks were intercepted, but overall tensions in the region are rising.
