Poll: More than 70% of Britons consider Nigel Farage to be despicable

More than seven out of ten Britons view Nigel Farage, the leader of the right-wing populist party Reform UK, negatively

According to the survey, 56% of respondents called Farage “very despicable,” while another 17% called him “quite despicable.” This is the worst rating among the leaders of Britain’s major political parties.

At the same time, researchers noted a decline in public opinion toward Reform UK itself. The number of Britons who consider the party dishonest has increased compared to the results of surveys conducted in 2024.

The authors of the study emphasize that such assessments primarily reflect the level of trust and public attitude toward politicians, rather than being a direct evaluation of their moral qualities.

Prior to this, Britain sent a new shipment of fire trucks to Ukraine.

Earlier, Slovakia donated a shipment of modern medical equipment worth over 340,000 euros to Ukraine, which was received by hospitals in Vinnytsia and Kyiv. Officials in Bratislava emphasize that this is part of systematic humanitarian support during the war and an investment in the development of Ukrainian medicine.
