Costa Cruises passengers face fines for taking food back to their cabins

Costa Cruises has warned passengers of possible fines for taking food from buffets and restaurants back to their cabins.

This was reported by The Independent.

As noted, on certain cruises, a €60 cleaning fee may be charged for violating the rules. The company explains this decision on the grounds of sanitation and hygiene.

Costa Cruises emphasized that passengers may use the official room service, and only trained staff are authorized to deliver food to cabins.

In Thailand, tourists will be tested for intoxication before alcohol is sold. If the test shows that a customer is already heavily intoxicated, they may be denied service. The country is known for its fairly strict rules regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol, including restrictions on its sale during certain hours.

In China, in the city of Xiata in Xinjiang Province, a cable on a suspension bridge snapped while people were walking on it. Five people were killed in the incident, and another 24 were injured.
