Support for Isamaa in Estonia falls to lowest level since 2023 — ERR News
In Estonia, support for the opposition party Isamaa has fallen to 23.4% — the lowest figure since November 2023. At the same time, Isamaa retains first place in the party rankings, ERR News reports, citing a Norstat survey.
Distribution of party support
Second place is held by the opposition Centre Party with 21.8%. The gap between the two leaders is 1.6 percentage points. Support for the Social Democratic Party (SDE) rose to 15.9%, its highest level in two years.
The coalition Reform Party has 13.5%, while the opposition EKRE has 12.4%. The non-parliamentary Parempoolsed received 7.4%, exceeding the five-percent threshold required to win mandates. Over the past four weeks, its rating has increased by two percentage points and reached its highest level since the party was founded ahead of the 2021 elections.

The second coalition member, Eesti 200, received 1.6% support, the Estonian Greens 0.7%, and all other parties combined 3.4%. The combined rating of the two coalition parties stood at 15.1%, while that of the four opposition parties was 73.5%.
Possible distribution of mandates
If these figures translated into an election result, Isamaa would receive 26 seats in the Riigikogu instead of its current eight, while the Centre Party would receive 24 instead of seven. The SDE could win 17 mandates, the Reform Party 14, EKRE 13, and Parempoolsed would enter parliament for the first time with seven mandates. Eesti 200 would lose all 12 of its current seats.
The survey covered 4,000 Estonian citizens eligible to vote in Riigikogu elections. Aggregated data were collected from August 10 to September 5. The next parliamentary elections in the country are scheduled for March 2027.
