Peskov liked the work of Russian air defense during the attack on Moscow
The Kremlin praised the actions of Russia’s air defense forces during the repulsion of the attack on targets in the Moscow area that took place on June 18. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov highlighted the effectiveness of the air defense forces in responding to the strike on an oil refinery.
“Indeed, drone attacks are continuing. Appropriate measures are being taken to address the consequences,” Peskov told reporters, commenting on the nighttime attack on Moscow.
He also noted the “high” performance of the air defense systems, despite everything.
As a reminder, in Balashikha, near Moscow, local residents are reporting unusual effects of the rain—black, oily stains with a burning smell are left on clothing, cars, and other surfaces.
In five cities in the Moscow region, 16 people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of falling debris and the chaotic response of Russian air defense systems during the drone attack.
