Giving birth amid sirens: a baby was born in Tel Aviv during a rocket attack
In Tel Aviv, a woman gave birth right in the middle of a rocket alert.
This was reported by the Magen David Adom ambulance service.
The dispatchers received a call when a city resident suddenly went into labor. While the team was on its way to the scene, the dispatcher instructed the husband over the phone on how to assist his wife.
The medics arrived quickly and delivered the baby—a healthy infant was born just a few minutes later.
Immediately after the birth, sirens sounded due to rocket fire from Iran. The doctors, along with the parents and the newborn, were forced to rush down to a shelter.
One of the medics carried the infant in his arms to the bomb shelter, where he later handed the baby over to the father. The shelter became the first place where people saw the baby, who was only a few minutes old.
