Poland opens logistics center to strengthen NATO’s eastern flank — Anadolu Agency
A new repair and logistics center has opened in Czosnów, central Poland, to support the country’s air defense and strengthen NATO’s eastern flank. The center was established using British experience, Anadolu Agency reports, citing the UK Ministry of Defence.
Joint work by Poland and the United Kingdom
UK Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry Luke Pollard and Polish Deputy Defense Minister Paweł Zalewski attended the opening ceremony. The UK Ministry of Defence said that British personnel would work at the facility alongside their Polish colleagues to protect Polish airspace.

Support for the PILICA+ program
The new center is intended to provide faster and more direct maintenance, support and training under Poland’s PILICA+ program. This is a multibillion-dollar program to create an integrated air defense network, which Poland is developing in partnership with the United Kingdom.
Pollard said that stronger Polish air defense means stronger NATO air defense. According to him, this cooperation also supports jobs in both countries.
