Eje Irtem, star of "Kizilov Sherbet," has died
Turkish actress Ece Irtem, known for her role as Isil in the popular series "Crimson Sherbet," has died suddenly at the age of 35.
The tragedy occurred on June 15—the day after her birthday. According to preliminary reports, the cause of death was a heart attack. The actress died at her home.
Ece Irtem was born on June 14, 1991, in Sivas. She received training in music and acting, after which she began her television career in 2014.
Over the years, Irtem starred in many well-known Turkish TV series, including “The New Bride,” "Mr. Mistake," "The Prisoner," "Forbidden Fruit," "The Family," and "Cornelian Cherry Sherbet."
The actress gained the most popularity for her roles as Afet in the series “The New Bride,” Jansin in “The Family,” and Isil in “Cornelian Cherry Sherbet.”
