The Russian port of Ust-Luga has resumed oil exports following a drone attack

The Russian port of Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea has resumed oil shipments following an attack by Ukrainian drones.

Reuters reports this, citing sources.

Meanwhile, operations at the neighboring port of Primorsk remain suspended.

Both ports are key for Russian oil exports and temporarily suspended operations following the attacks on Sunday. According to Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdov, fuel tanks caught fire at Primorsk as a result of the strikes.

Primorsk is capable of exporting over 1 million barrels of oil per day and is the main channel for supplying Urals crude and diesel fuel. Ust-Luga handles about 700,000 barrels per day.

In 2025, 32.9 million tons of petroleum products were exported through Ust-Luga, while 16.8 million tons were exported through Primorsk.

As a reminder, drones attacked a strategic oil terminal in the Leningrad region.

Drones also attacked the Saratov region, with over 60 explosions reported.
