The Egyptian president called on Trump to stop the war with Iran
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has appealed to U.S. President Donald Trump to stop the war with Iran.
This was reported by The Times of Israel.
According to al-Sisi, only the U.S. is capable of halting the escalation in the Persian Gulf region.
He also warned that oil prices could rise above $200 per barrel.
Egypt advocates for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict and calls for avoiding a large-scale war in the region.
Additionally, Spain has banned U.S. military aircraft participating in strikes against Iran from using its airspace. The decision also applies to access to joint bases.
In northern Israel, there was a new round of shelling from Iran and Hezbollah. Two people were wounded, one of whom is in serious condition. Several towns in the north of the country were hit.
Israel has recorded an increase in attacks and pressure on Christians and church properties. At least 155 incidents have occurred over the past year—ranging from verbal abuse to physical attacks. Researchers say the problem is becoming systemic and affecting the lives of entire communities.
