The name of Charles III's newborn granddaughter has been revealed
Princess Eugenie, the daughter of Prince Andrew, shared the first photos of her newborn daughter and revealed her name. The baby girl has three names, one of which was chosen in honor of her great-grandmother.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, gave their daughter a triple name. One of the names was chosen in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
“Two weeks ago, we met our little girl. And since then, we’ve had the most special, cozy, and loving time. We are so happy to share: Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. Named after three people we love and honor, past and present, including her great-grandmother, whom we hold close to our hearts. Her name is part of both English and Portuguese history—two places we love and call home,” her mother noted.

In the photos posted by Princess Eugenie, you can see the newborn Adelaide Elizabeth Annina. The baby girl is sleeping in one photo, and in another, one of her brothers and her mother are holding her tiny hand.

The family chose the middle name Adelaide to reflect the family’s English and Portuguese roots. It is also associated with Queen Adelaide, wife of King William IV, and Maria Adelaide of Portugal. Meanwhile, the girl was given the name Annina in honor of a close friend of the family.

Princess Eugenie also shared that her sons, August and Ernest, have already become “the best big brothers.” In a separate photo, the boys are holding their little sister in their arms and playing with her.
This was reported with reference to the princess’s Instagram post.
