According to the results of the latest poll, President Donald Trump’s approval rating among American citizens has fallen to a record low.
The survey, conducted over two weeks—from March 30 to April 13, 2026—revealed a serious crisis of confidence in the current White House administration.
Currently, only 37% of the U.S. adult population views their leader’s performance positively, which is the lowest rating during his entire time in office.
“Only 37% of adults approve of Trump’s performance as president. At the same time, half of those surveyed strongly disapprove of the American leader’s performance, and 63% of respondents express disapproval of his actions,” sociologists report, analyzing voter sentiment.
Experts attribute this negative trend to two key factors that most concern ordinary Americans.
First, there is the growing threat of a full-scale war with Iran, which has already led to destabilization in the Middle East and raises concerns about the security of the U.S. itself.
Second, domestic economic problems have a significant impact on the U.S. president’s approval rating.
Rising government spending on military needs and the general cost of living are causing dissatisfaction among taxpayers, who are increasingly criticizing Washington’s financial policies.
In particular, residents of the Emirates and other Middle Eastern countries are already openly accusing the U.S. president of dragging the region into a destructive conflict.
This puts additional pressure on the U.S. administration, as the dissatisfaction of allies compounds domestic opposition.
