Russians are now being blocked from accessing the Figma graphic design tool
Russian users have begun complaining about problems accessing the Figma design editor—one of the most popular tools for creating websites and apps.
This was reported by Meduza.
“It seems Figma has been blocked in Russia,” writes the Telegram channel “Exploit.”
Downdetector has also recorded complaints about access to Figma. Users report that neither the website nor the app is working.
The author of one of the comments wrote that he managed to access the site using a VPN. He speculated that Roskomnadzor was involved in blocking the graphic editor.
As a reminder, Roskomnadzor has begun mass-requiring telecommunications companies to provide data on subscribers’ IP addresses.
Russian schools have begun holding lectures on the dangers of VPN services
The Russian government will launch its own VPN without access to banned resources.
