Russia has posted a job opening for a researcher of the Putin family tree
The Russian State University for the Humanities is seeking a researcher to study the history of Vladimir Putin’s family.
As Meduza noted, this job posting appeared on April 23 in the unified system for conducting competitions to fill academic positions. The same information is published on the university’s website.
The researcher is tasked with conducting a study on the topic “A Collective Biography of Members of the Putin Family in Post-Reform Russia (1861–1917): The Transition from Agriculture to Small-Scale Urban Entrepreneurship.”
According to the published materials, the base salary will be nearly 82,000 rubles. No other bonuses or benefits are provided.
Applications for the position are being accepted until June 10.
