The IDF destroyed a Hezbollah artillery command post in southern Lebanon

It has been reported that on Friday, May 29, the IDF attacked and destroyed an artillery command post belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the Ash-Shmali area of southern Lebanon.

This was reported by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces.

It is reported that secondary explosions were recorded following the strike. This may indicate the presence of weapons and ammunition in the building that was targeted.

As a reminder, on May 22, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a series of airstrikes on targets in southern Lebanon.

Prior to this, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of six people. The latest escalation in the region occurred almost immediately after the conclusion of the official round of talks between representatives of the countries in Washington.

Israel agreed to a 10-day ceasefire with Lebanon and announced the start of a move toward a diplomatic settlement, but Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that the war against Hezbollah is not yet over and military operations will continue.
