In these areas, early warning system sirens were activated as part of emergency procedures to inform residents. The agency later stated that the danger had passed. On Saturday, September 19, 2026, civil defense sent an all-clear notification.

Where the warnings were in effect

The warnings covered Riyadh, Al-Kharj, Khamis Mushait, Jeddah, Taif, Yanbu, AlUla, Jazan, Farasan, and Abha. The source states that sirens were activated specifically in these cities and governorates before the subsequent civil defense all-clear notification.
