The heads of state intend to discuss in detail the current state of bilateral relations, as well as a range of global and regional issues of mutual interest to Beijing and Moscow.
The meeting between the two leaders will take place as part of a broader program of intergovernmental cooperation and will cover key areas of collaboration on the international stage.
“During the visit, the heads of the two states will exchange views on bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as on international and regional issues of mutual interest,” said Gao.
At the same time, the Chinese diplomat did not provide journalists with any additional details regarding the specific agenda for the Russian president’s upcoming trip to China.

The diplomat added that this year features several important events in China-Russia relations that the parties will use to deepen bilateral ties.
In particular, these include events designed to highlight the long history of diplomatic and political contacts between the two neighbors.
