Trump's son is launching a skyscraper project in Tbilisi together with Ivanishvili's partners
The sons of U.S. President Donald Trump have announced the launch of a large-scale real estate development project in Georgia—the construction of the Trump Tower Tbilisi skyscraper, which is intended to become the tallest building in the country.
This was reported by Russian media.
The project was presented by Eric Trump, who announced the creation of a 70-story luxury residential complex in Tbilisi. He emphasized that the Trump brand is associated with luxury real estate projects in various countries, and the new tower will allegedly continue this tradition, bringing “high standards of quality” to the Georgian market.
According to The Daily Beast, among the Trump family’s partners in this project is a Tbilisi-based development company linked to the inner circle of Georgian businessman and politician Bidzina Ivanishvili. Ivanishvili himself, the founder of the Georgian Dream party, was previously subject to U.S. sanctions over allegations of undermining democratic processes in the country.
